"Since 1996, ... we have been feeding our dogs Regal Sensi-Bites and Active Bites. (We chose) Sensi-Bites for our dogs that are prone to hot spots ... "In 1995, we were introduced to Regal by fellow Chow owners in Michigan who told us that Regal Sensi-Bites completely cured their dog's skin problems. Like many Chow owners, we had several dogs that were prone to hot spots and we decided to give Sensi-Bites a try. We have had as many as ten Chows in our kennel so obviously they all don't receive the regular grooming that helps keep some dogs free from these problems. Feeding Regal Sensi-Bites has virtually eliminated hot spots from our dogs and reduced the need for the frequent grooming necessary to keep the problem at bay.

The dogs we show in conformation seem to have excellent quality coats and while we have considered using some of the other Regal products for those no longer in the show ring, we have kept them on Sensi-Bites for simplicity sake. We buy a 40 pound bag of Regal Puppy (Bites) which we start feeding to our dam after she whelps and give it to her puppies when they are ready for solid food. When the bag is finished, they get Sensi-Bites just like the rest of the kennel.

In 1996, we put Championships on five Chows we had bred. As our line is slow to mature, all were in adult coat so it was important that their coats were in good condition. Sensi-Bites did not let us down. This year our special, Am Can Ch Byhorn China Tea, is being campaigned for the first time and is lying third in the country in Breed Points. We have fed him nothing but Regal Sensi-Bites since 1995.

"In 1992 I was looking for a natural food for my dogs. The important features of a new food to me were natural preservatives, calorie density, no wheat or soy. I heard about Regal Pet Foods and called to get more info. The information I received was very favorable, and I knew the ingredients must be first class to have over 300 calories in just 3.2 0z. (8 oz. cup holds 3.2 oz.). My oldest dog had digestive problems even on the premium diets. His gas was so bad we even used Gas-X. My younger dog is an extremely finicky eater. After starting my older dog, Josh, on Sensi-Bites, his digestive symptoms disappeared. His kidneys were not as strong as they could be, and I'm certain feeding Regal gave us a couple extra years we would not have had with him otherwise. He lived to be 16 1/2 years old. Quite good for a large Labrador. Our younger dog, Travis, the finicky one, loves Regal Active Bites and has eaten it consistently for five years. We have a new younger female and use Puppy Bites and Adult Bites as well.

Even our veterinarian comments on the fabulous skin and coat condition our dogs have. He says, "It's that food you feed isn't it!"
